My twelve pictures of “Windows and Walls” were taken over a long period of time.
I didn’t realize until I was searching my library for images for this site, that I discovered that this is a subject to which I often return. What is it that makes me point my camera towards that window? Is it something outside? Or Is it the way a window so beautifully frames and freezes a moment that I would like to preserve? At times, it’s the way a window is dressed and the light is so strongly backlit, I can’t see outside. And sometimes a window and a wall work together to catch my attention.
That is my goal.
