Art Reception - "America the Beautiful" exhibition.
My photographs are scenes from Long Island - everyday scenes that show the beauty around us the people of the United States have created.
All are Archival Photographs framed to 11 x 14

Howie Pohl
Howie Pohl’s photos Arched Truck In Snow and Tilted Boat were featured in the Darkroom to Lightroom and Beyond exhibit at Gallery 40 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Tilted Boat also won the People’s Choice Award at Gallery 14’s 2026 Juried Exhibit in Hopewell, NJ. His House In Sand is currently at the Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster, NJ, and also appeared online at Site: Brooklyn’s In Black and White display. The Chateau Gallery’s online exhibit The Art of Street Photography selected his photo You’ll Go Your Way and I’ll Go Mine. Howie’s photo The Odd Couple is presently showing at the 65th Annual Members’ Exhibition at the Art League of Long Island through February 17. Starting on February 27, the Huntington Arts Council will show his photo Estee Lauder Building No.4 as part of its Essence of Form exhibition, through March 22. The Long Island Photo Gallery selected Howie’s photo, Man On Fire, to be included in its exhibit, Double Take, presented at the Southampton Cultural Center from March 10 to 28.

He is presenting a slide lecture at Molloy University (MILL 1), Rockville Centre. Title: “Driven to Abstraction” (Painting & Photography). Tuesday, April 14, 1:30-2:30pm. Note; attendance thru lecture series subscription.
