Geraldine Hoffman

While my work is eclectic and varied, it represents my view of the world around me.

I received my education at Hofstra University, studying photographic techniques and darkroom methods.  I was a member of the Board of Directors of the Long Island Center of Photography. I was associated with Photo Artists Network (PHAN), a select group of photographers in Great Neck, New York.

I am also a member of the Huntington Arts Council, the Art League of Long Island, and the Long Island Arts Council in Freeport. I received the Fabian Adler Award and Best in Show 2017 from the Freeport Arts Council at their annual exhibition.  In addition, I received an Honorable Mention from the Huntington Arts Council in 2017, and participated in the 2017 Masters show.

I was also selected to exhibit at the Salmagundi Gallery on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan in 2016 and 2017, where my work was purchased.  I received the Award of Excellence in the Art League of Long Island’s 2017 Members’s exhibition. I was selected to exhibit at the Foto Foto gallery’s juried shows for three consecutive years.

My work appears in LIGHT JOURNAL and has been published in corporate newsletters and calenders.
