Diane Luger
Diane is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Graphic Design and has been working as an Art Director in the Publishing industry for many years. In recent years, she started her own design studio and continued to pursue her lifelong passion of photography, sometimes using her images on book covers when appropriate.
“Photography is almost a meditative experience for me. Looking through the lens of my camera enables me to isolate a moment in time. I like to see the simplicity of a subject, and reduce the elements into simple shapes and forms using light, shadow and composition.”
As a member of the Long Island Center of Photography, Diane has been able to participate in exhibitions on Long Island with her colleagues. Sharing her knowledge as well as learning from the other members has only enhanced her love of photography.
