November 2-30: Long Island Arts Council 41st annual Juried Photography Show. Freeport Memorial Library, 144 West Merrick Rd, Freeport, NY. Reception November 18, 7:00-8:30 PM. A significant percentage of the acceptances were LICP active or past members. Best-in-show was awarded to our own Joan Weiss. Other award recipients were Howie Pohl and former LICP president Marty Hochberg. Additional works juried into the show represent Carolyn Karsten, John Michaels, Dick Lopez, Susan Silkowitz, Michael Tucciarone and former members Geraldine Hoffman and Kathy Leistner.
